Under Utah’s statewide policies administered by UFA, fireworks can be legally discharged July 2–5 and July 22–25, from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., with extended hours until midnight on July 4 and 24. Sales align with June 24–July 25, December 29–31, and Chinese New Year periods

White City continues to enforce area-specific restrictions. According to the White City 2024 “pink zones” (likely carried forward in 2025), UFA-designated prohibited zones include:

• Dimple Dell Park, Lone Peak Park, Big Bear Park, and trails along the Sandy Irrigation Canal
• Surrounding residential streets: Carnation Dr, Sego Lily Dr, Tulip Dr, Cobalt Ln, Mumford Dr, Peony Way, Blossom Dr, Diamond Way, and adjacent segments

⚠️ What This Means for You

1. Do not discharge any fireworks (even legal Class C) in restricted zones at any time.
2. If you're in an allowed area, follow statewide rules: July time-windows, daily hours, minimum 30 ft distance from structures, and no handling by anyone under age 16 
3. Violation fines may reach up to $1,000 for discharging in prohibited zones or outside legal times 
4. Weather conditions matter—postpone fireworks if high winds or dry weather prevail unifiedfire.org.
5. Report misuse: If you see fireworks in restricted zones, contact UFA or Unified Police.
