Allan Perry
Mayor Allan Perry was born and raised in White City and is excited to work alongside councilmembers and residents in continuing to meet the city’s current needs while also planning and preparing for the future. As a lifelong resident of White City, Mayor Perry believes it is important to understand and honor our history while also having well-defined goals to work toward. Raising his own family in the community he grew up in has given him an even greater sense of pride for White City and a desire for his son to also have fond memories of growing up there.
Mayor Perry believes that the community is stronger when everyone feels like they have a voice and intends to encourage more public input and engagement. He feels that it is important to discuss ideas openly and allow citizens the opportunity to weigh in through dialogue, public comment, and conversations with their elected officials as much as possible. He recognizes that opinions will differ and not everyone will agree all of the time, but respectful conversations will ultimately help make good decisions and help provide context and understanding even when a difference of opinion remains.
Mayor Perry previously served 2 terms on the White City council, starting in 2017 through 2023. During this period, he also represented White City on the Unified Fire Authority Board. He wants the residents to know, “I learned a lot from my past experiences as a public servant. I feel like a lot of good things have been accomplished in White City through the hard work of many citizens. I look forward to seeing what we can accomplish together in the upcoming years!”
